- 2.5 cups of water
- 2oz packet of Chai Wallah’s Chai Spice (no tea)
- 0.5 cup agave (amber)
- 1.50 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons molasses
Note: If you want a caffeinated concentrate, drop a few tea bags or teaspoons of loose tea into the steeping liquid a few minutes before you strain it. Don’t over steep the tea!
Bring water to the boil, turn off heat and stir in chai spice.
Steep for 15 minutes and strain through a fine strainer.
Add agave, vanilla and molasses.
Cool and refrigerate.
Dilute to taste with soy, milk, almond milk or coconut milk.
Great as a smoothie base, spike with chocolate syrup, whisk in matcha green tea powder.
